"Linsanity" was the name for the remarkable emergence of Jeremy Lin as a basketball, and cultural, phenomenon during the 2011-12 season when he played for the New York Knicks. Offered is a 2017-18 Jeremy Lin Brooklyn Nets game issued jersey. In the opening game of the 2017-18 season, the Nets were on the road against the Indiana Pacers, and Lin was having an outstanding game, with 18 points already, and then he ruptured his patella tendon. That was the last game he ever played for the Nets. An INFOR patch is sewn on near the left shoulder. Below this is a NIKE/NBA Authentics manufacturer's sewn-on patch, showing size 48. Next to the manufacturer's patch is a sewn-on patch reading, Every Player, Every Game BKNE 01839. Fascinating features of the design are the white "wiring" stripes on the jersey, designed to symbolize the steel cables of the Brooklyn Bridge, and the black and white areas on each side of the jersey, meant to symbolize the massive arches supporting Brooklyn's iconic bridge.
