The 2007 Europe Tour was a basketball exhibition tour that included four NBA teams and five European squads. Offered is a 2007 Ray Allen game issued, green, with white trim, Boston Celtics Europe Tour jersey. The Europe Tour ran from Oct. 6 to Oct. 11, 2007, and included four NBA teams: The Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics were the only NBA team not to play a European team during the tour. The four NBA teams used the time to also conduct preseason training in Europe. The Celtics two games on the tour: Oct. 6, in Rome, Italy, when Boston defeated the Toronto Raptors 89-85; Oct. 10, in London, England, when Boston defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 92-81. Allen played 18 seasons in the NBA, with four teams. The 2007-08 season was the first of his five consecutive seasons with Boston. The 2007 Europe Tour couldn't have been bad for Boston, as they went on to win the 2007-08 NBA Championship, and Allen was an All-Star, averaging 17.4 PPG. For his career, Allen was a 2-time NBA Champion and a 10-time All-Star. He averaged 18.9 PPG in his NBA seasons. The front of the offered jersey has the NBA logo near the left shoulder and an "NBA EUROPE LIVE LONDON 07" patch near the right shoulder. Across the chest is CELTICS in sewn-on white letters. Below the team's name is 20 in sewn-on white numerals. On the front outside tail is an "NBA Europe Live Tour 07" sewn-on patch. Below that is an Adidas/NBA/CELTICS/Player ID patch. Additional adjacent tagging reads, 48, and Length 4, Climalite, and 2007-2008. On back, near the top, is a white, sewn-on Celtic shamrock. Below the shamrock is ALLEN in white sewn-on letters. Under that is 20, in white sewn-on numerals. The jersey is in excellent condition.
