"All American Village" card of Jerry West, signed by West in blue ink (grading 6/10) atop his image. This is possibly the rarest Jerry West card in the hobby because not only is it the first signed example we have seen, but the only such example we have seen. The All-American Village was a day camp for boys in Mammoth Lakes, California, that West co-owned and worked at as an instructor in the early 1960s. Our consignor attended the camp (and later worked there as a counselor), which is when he received this card. Interestingly, the image of West featured on the card is the same as that used on his Kahn's Weiners card. The card (3.75x5.5") displays a diagonal crease in the upper right corner and light adhesive residue on the reverse from having been mounted in a vintage photo album. Full LOA from PSA.
