Collection of thirty-five Brooklyn Dodgers regular-season ticket stubs spanning the years 1953 to 1957, including nine duplicate ticket stubs. Jackie Robinson played in all but one of the games represented by the tickets here from 1953 to 1956, including three games in which he hit a home run. The tickets vary in size, but are approximately 2.5x1.25 inches on average. Condition ranges from Poor to Very Good, averaging Good (many have tape and/or adhesive residue on the front from having once been mounted in an album. Also included are a Brooklyn Dodgers 1957 ticket form (8.5x14", unfolded; VG) and an undated Brooklyn Dodgers ticket envelope (7x3"; GD-VG). 1953: April 11 (exhibition game); April 14 (stamped Opening Day; Campanella and Snider home runs); May 3; May 31 (doubleheader); June 2; June 8 (two examples); July 19 (doubleheader); August 16 (doubleheader; Snider home run in second game); August 25 (doubleheader; Robinson two home runs in second game); August 30 (Campanella home run); August 31 (three examples; Snider and Hodges home runs); September 1 (three examples); and September 20 (doubleheader). 1954: May 15 (three examples) and August 6 (Robinson home run). 1956: May 20 (doubleheader; Snider home run in first game; Hodges home run in second game); June 25 (Ernie Banks home run); July 2 (Willie Mays home run); July 26 (Campanella home run and Frank Robinson home run); July 31 (Robinson home run and Eddie Mathews home run); August 1 (Snider home run); September 3 (two examples; doubleheader); and September 29 (doubleheader; Hodges home run in first game; Campanella home run in second game). 1957: August 5 (Willie Mays home run); September 2 (doubleheader; Snider home run in each game); and September 7 (Snider and Willie Mays home runs).
