Ken Griffey Jr. Louisville Slugger pro model (C271) bat dating from the 1991-97 manufacturing period. Graded GU 7.5 by PSA. The cupped-end bat, which measures 34 inches and weighs 32.2 ounces, displays outstanding use along its entire length, including ball marks, cleat marks, a 7.5" wrap of tape around the handle (applied in a crisscross manner), and an approximate three-inch multiple crack in the lower handle. As noted in the accompanying PSA LOA, the barrel shows evidence of heat damage while covered with an athletic sock. This bat dates from the peak of Griffey's career with the Seattle Mariners. During the referenced labeling period, Griffey twice led the league in home runs, including a career-high 56 home runs during his 1997 MVP season. One of the greatest sluggers in baseball history, Griffey Jr. retired in 2010 with 630 home runs, 1,836 RBI, and a .284 lifetime average. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2016, his first year of eligibility. Full LOA from PSA (graded GU 7.5).
