Red-stitched baseball signed in black ink by the following twenty-six members of the 1951 World Champion New York Yankees: DiMaggio (sweet spot), Mantle, Mize, Rizzuto, Berra, Sain, Bauer, Ostrowski, Brown, Silvera, Hogue, Morgan, McDougald, Overmire, Kuzava, Bridweiser, Woodling, Coleman, Martin, Shea, Houk, Schallock, Raschi, Lopat, Reynolds, and one other (faded beyond legibility). The name "Farrel" is printed in black ink (unknown hand) on a side panel. Signatures range from 3/10 to 6/10, averaging 4.5/10. The ball has been coated with a light, uneven, application of shellac, to which there are a few small chips, abrasions, and blemishes. The manufacturer's stampings are no longer visible.
