Original Type I photograph of Tris Speaker, taken by noted baseball photographer Charles Conlon, used in the production of Speaker's 1926-29 Exhibit card. As noted in PSA's accompanying LOA, this is not only the photograph used for Speaker's Exhibit card, but the very production piece: "This is the ACTUAL 'One-of-a-Kind" artwork proof photograph that a was used to make the 1926-29 Exhibit card of Tris Speaker. The text is hand-lettered in India-ink." The text referred to reads, "Tris Speaker/Athletic/AM. L." Charles Conlon's credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with his handwritten notes in pencil that read, "Tris Speaker/Washington/and/Athletics." The photo (5.5x8.25") displays white editorial shading on Speaker's right sleeve and black shading to the background; otherwise, it remains in Excellent to Mint condition.
