Vintage Pittsburgh Steelers sideline cape dating from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The black nylon cape, with wool interior and zippered hood, is lettered Pittsburgh Steelers in gold tackle twill on the reverse. A Wilson label appears on the interior. These capes were not assigned to players but instead were interchangeable during games, used by whomever wanted to keep warm while not on the field. The jacket displays heavy wear, commensurate with having been used for several seasons, including numerous small team repairs throughout.
