Collection of seventeen vintage news photos capturing members of the Detroit Pistons dating from the club's back-to-back NBA Championship seasons of 1988-1989 and 1989-1990. This collection originates from the archives of the Detroit Free Press and features many memorable images of Detroit's fabled "Bad Boys" of the hardwood. All the photographs were taken during the postseason and bear the date of each game on the reverse. The majority also include written identifications of the player/players pictured. Thirteen photos are black-and-white and the remainder are color. Thirteen measure 8x10 inches, with the other four ranging from 4.25x4.75 to 4.5x10.5 inches. Two of the color photos are affixed to a cardboard backing. Several display editorial markings on the front; otherwise they remain in Excellent condition overall. Among the players featured, many more than once, are Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman, Scottie Pippen, and Robert Parish.
