Magnificent medal presented to Hall of Fame defenseman Brad Park, awarded to him at the Hockey Hall of Fame dinner held at the same time as his induction in 1988. Originating from Park's personal collection, the medal has an orange ribbon, is gold in color, and measures 2.5" in diameter; inscribed on the front is "Honouring - Brad Park - 1988" above an engraved NHL shield, back reads, "National Hockey League - Hall of Fame Dinner" and a relief of a maple leaf and torch. Park, who split the majority of his career between the New York Rangers and Boston Bruins, is considered one of the great all-time backliners, despite never having won the Norris Trophy as the league's best defenseman. He does hold the dubious distinction of having the most-ever second-place finishes, with eight; he was the victim of bad career timing, placing behind legends Bobby Orr and Denis Potvin four times each. Medal is in EX condition.
