Presented is a pair of Patrick Ewing game worn sneakers that the 7'0" Hall of Fame center wore while playing for the New York Knicks. Ewing played 17 seasons in the NBA: New York Knicks (1985-86 to 1999-2000), Seattle SuperSonics (2001-02), Orlando Magic (2001-02). As a collegian, he was the key player on the 1983-84 NCAA Champion Georgetown University Hoyas. Ewing was an 11-time All-Star, a 3-time member of the NBA's All-Defensive Team, and a selection for the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. His Knicks teams twice reached the NBA Finals. Ewing averaged 21.0 PPG in the NBA, with 9.8 TRB, and 1.9 APG. The sneakers are white, with trim in blue and orange, the colors of the New York Knicks. The sneakers are made by Next Sports Inc., with tags inside the tongues. Ewing's number 33 is embroidered on the heels and on both straps at the lace areas. EWING is on the bottom of each sneaker, in orange lettering. No size is visible, but each sneaker measures 12.9" from tip to heel. In a few places on each sneaker, the rubber-like outer material has peeled off or broken off in some small spots. Ewing has signed each sneaker, using a dark, fine tip marker. Each sneaker has EWING and Patrick Ewing imprinted on each outer tongue. The colors on the sneakers really pop, and the New York Knicks' colors on the sneakers are appropriate as Ewing's pro career was mainly noteworthy for his time with the Knicks.
