2017 game used Marucci bat exhibits excellent use by newly-minted Hall of Famer Adrian Beltre. Model AB29 measures 34.0" and weighs 33.6 ounces, with a beautiful black/cherry finish. Per the included PSA/DNA LOA, outstanding use includes a repaired handle crack with chip, along with markings on the barrel and residue on the handle. Knob is stamped with his number 29, and the manufacture date of 04/07/07. On July 24th, 2017, Beltre got hits 2990, 2991, 2992 and 2993. According to the MLB hologram on knob, they registered this as a broken bat used in the bottom of the first, when Beltre got hit #2990. That being said, Beltre either used this bat to register only hit 2990, or MLB only registered the first at-bat while Beltre broke the bat in the second inning. The bat is also photo-matched to the game before, July 23rd, when Beltre registered hits 2888 and 2889, meaning Beltre registered a minimum of three hits with this bat. Photo-matches: July 24th (AP155716354278) and July 23rd YouTube video. Beltre finished his magnificent career with 3,166 hits to go with his four Silver Slugger and five Gold Glove awards over 21 years, as he his considered one of the great third basemen in history, easily earning first-ballot induction into the halls of Cooperstown in 2024. This prized specimen has been graded PSA/DNA GU 9.5, full letter included.
