Pair of Florida Marlins vest-style home jerseys worn by third baseman Mike Lowell between the years 2000 and 2002. Each jersey is identical in both style and tagging with just one exception. On one jersey (either a 2000 or 2001 example) Lowell's name on the reverse is lettered upon a nameplate and on the other it is lettered directly on the jersey (2002). Each white pinstripe polyester jersey features the team name across the front and the number 19 on the front and reverse. Lowell's name is lettered on the reverse. Both a Russell Athletic label and "48" size tag appear on the left front tail. Lowell has signed the 2002 jersey in silver paint pen (grading 9/10) on the reverse numeral 1. Both jerseys are original as issued and display light-to-moderate wear. Mike Lowell was one of the club's most productive hitters during the three-year span 2000-2002. During that time he averaged 21 home runs and 94 RBI, while never hitting below .270. He retired after the 2010 season with 223 home runs, 952 RBI, and a .279 lifetime average.
