A parody of the 1950s television show, The Honeymooners, The Flintstones was a show created by the famed animated production studio of Hanna-Barbera. Presented is a Fred Flintstone original drawing by William Hanna, famed animator and a co-founder of Hanna-Barbera. The Hanna-Barbera studio created the original Tom and Jerry cartoons for the movies and produced numerous animated television shows: The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Jetsons, Scooby-Doo, and Yogi Bear. In The Flintstones, Fred lived in the prehistoric town of Bedrock and worked as a Bronto crane operator. Fred's wife was Wilma, and his best friend was Barney Rubble. Animated cartoonist William Hanna was also an actor and musician, and his Hanna-Barbera Studio won seven Academy Awards and eight Emmy Awards. The offered signed cartoon measures approx. 5.5x7", matted and framed to 12.5x14". Both the cartoon, a beautiful profile of a smiling Fred Flintstone (done in a minimalist manner with just a few lines), and the Bill Hanna signature have been completed in black marker.
