Louisville Slugger has model number S44 stamped on the knob along with a fading handwritten number 15 in black marker, and measures 35.0" while weighing 33.1 ounces. Bat is uncracked and displays light use, primarily with red and blue paint transfers from bat racks. The labeling period is significant, as Munson earned American League Rookie of the Year honors in 1970, and made the first of his seven career All-Star appearances in 1971.
