Carlton "Pudge" Fisk is a Hall of Fame catcher and a Boston Red Sox icon, and presented is a 1978 Fisk Red Sox game used signed Hillerich & Bradsby bat. The offering comes with a LOA from Rick Miller, Fisk's former teammate on the Red Sox. Fisk played 24 Major League seasons: Boston Red Sox (1969 & 1971-80) and Chicago White Sox (1981-93). He was the '72 AL Rookie of the Year, an 11-time All-Star, a Gold Glove winner, and a 3-time Silver Slugger recipient. He batted a career .269, with 376 homers. In '78, when Fisk used the offered bat, he batted .284, with 20 home runs and 88 RBIs. The bat is 34.0" long and it weighs 31.9 ounces. The ash bat has a wax finish. Fisk's number (27) is written on the knob in black marker by an unknown hand. Etched on the barrel is "GENUINE D133 [model]/ CARLTON FISK/Louisville Slugger." The bat is uncracked, with moderate use. Fisk signed a big and bold signature in blue marker. The Rick Miller LOA states, in part, "This is my LOA for the game used Carlton Fisk D113 Louisville Slugger bat... used by Carlton during the 1978 season.... This bat was taken out of his locker and given to me directly." The bat comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Grading and Authenticity. A PSA certification sticker (#1B31278) is on the bat. The bat grade is PSA GU 10.  In Game 6 of the 1975 World Series against the Cincinnati Reds, Fisk's 12th inning game-winning home run down the left filed line at Fenway Park gave the Red Sox a 7-6 victory to set up Game 7, which the Red Sox lost, 4-3, to the Reds. Fisk's shot, and his waving his arms as if to keep the ball fair as he ran towards first base, ranks as one of the all-time dramatic moments in World Series history. A Carlton Fisk game used, signed bat is a valued prize for any baseball fan.  Also comes with PSA LOA for signature.
