Displayed is a super rare 1968 Super Bowl II Championship Green Bay Packers pennant issued for the Jan. 14, 1968, Super Bowl at Miami's Orange Bowl in which Green Bay defeated the Oakland Raiders by 33-14, before a crowd of 75,546. This particular example was sold only at the stadium on the way out after the game, as the pennant notes that the Packers as "Champions" in the lower left corner. The NFL Champion Packers had these Hall of Famers: Vince Lombardi (coach), Herb Adderly, Willie Davis, Forrest Gregg, Henry Jordan, Jerry Kramer, Ray Nitschke, Dave Robinson, Bart Starr, and Willie Wood. Oakland Raiders Hall of Famers: Al Davis (owner/GM), Fred Biletnikoff, George Blanda, Willie Brown, Jim Otto, Gene Upshaw, John Madden (then a linebacker coach and in the Hall of Fame as a head coach). Bart Starr, the Green Bay quarterback was the MVP as he tossed two touchdown passes and Don Chandler kicked four field goals and added three extra points for 15 points. Oakland quarterback Daryl Lamonica had a pair of touchdown passes for Oakland. The pennant is 29 inches long. The pennant is sold with no tassels. The pennant is in very good condition, with restoration at the tip.
