Displayed is a 1973 Rich Coggins Baltimore Orioles game-worn home white polyester jersey. Coggins was a 5'8" outfielder with good speed who played five Major League seasons: Baltimore Orioles (1972-74), Montreal Expos (1975), New York Yankees (1975-76), Chicago White Sox (1976). For his career, Coggins batted .265, with 50 stolen bases, and 12 home runs. Coggins had his best season when this jersey was worn in 1973. That year, he batted .319, with 17 steals, and a .831 OPS. The jersey has "Orioles" across the chest, in sewn-on orange script with black trim. Six silver-colored buttons are down the front. On the back is a restored player name: COGGINS is in sewn-on orange block letters with black trim. Below the player's name is "2" in a sewn-on orange numeral with black trim. On the inside right tail is a Rawlings' manufacturer's tag that shows size 36. Next to the manufacturer's tag is a Set# *P 1972 tag. The jersey is in EXCELLENT condition.
