Amazing assortment of 13 movie house promotional photos features stills from the Academy Award-winning 1970 film, "Patton." Brilliant color images are roughly 14-14.75 inches across and 11 inches in height, with many featuring co-stars George C. Scott and Karl Malden, among others. These are the first of their type that we've handled, coming in original blank envelope with "Patton 20th Century-Fox" printed on bottom left and "Printed in Italy by Rotograph - Roma 1969" in small type in bottom right corner. Similar print is on the back of each image and while the envelope shows some wear, the photos remain NM, bright and colorful, with only the slightest hint of age fading visible at the edges of some of the backs. Included is a superb photo of the scene depicting "the slap," in which Patton is shown slapping a soldier suffering from "shell shock" which adversely affected the General's career in real life.
