2000-01 Pittsburgh Penguins jersey game worn during the Stanley Cup Playoffs by rugged, high-scoring left wing Kevin Stevens. White top has CCM tag in collar with "25" written on in marker and size 58 flag tag. Penguins chevron crest is across the chest, number 25 is on shoulders and back, name is on a plate above rear number, all in black-on-yellow tackle twill. Perfect use is evident with stick marks, pilling, unrepaired cuts, and a large team repair on back tail. With star-studded teammates including Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr, Stevens had back-to-back 50-goal seasons in 1991-92 and '92-93. His career was winding down when he donned this jersey, which is matched to the April 30, 2001, conference semi-final game against the Buffalo Sabres - there are several marks accompanying the aforementioned repair that are dead-on matches, and the jersey was worn before this game and likely after. Stevens scored a goal to give his Pens a second-period lead in an eventual 4-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres, but Pittsburgh would have the final laugh, winning the final two games of the 7-game series in overtime.
