1960-62 Jerry Lucas Ohio State Buckeyes jersey was game worn by the Hall of Fame big man. Earning a perfect MEARS A10 grade, the white top has OHIO STATE sewn in individual letters across the chest, arched above the number 11 in red-on-black tackle twill; number is also on back with no name. Rawlings size 44 tag is inside the tail, and the jersey has a crotch piece with all six buttons intact. Nice wear is displayed throughout, and Lucas' number 11 was retired at Ohio State, where he was a three-time consensus All-American, two-time NCAA rebounding leader, and led the Buckeyes to the 1960 NCAA Championship. His pro career, split between the Cincinnati Royals, San Francisco Warriors, and New York Knicks, included 1964 NBA Rookie of the Year honors, seven All-Star Game appearances, and three NBA First Team selections. Standing at only 6'8" in an era before 7-footers were commonplace, Lucas - a natural power forward - occasionally played the center position where he was matched up against many of the biggest players in the game.
