Presented is an Oct. 2, 1994, Derrick Moore photo-matched Detroit Lions game worn jersey from the Lions' 24-14 loss at Tampa Stadium against the Buccaneers. The Lions finished at 9-7 in '94, for 3rd place in the NFC Central Division. The team lost in the wildcard playoffs to Green Bay. Moore was a 6'0" running back who played three seasons (1993-95) in the NFL, all with the Detroit Lions. In his career, Moore had 310 carries, for 1,197 yards, an average of 3.9 yards per carry. He scored 11 lifetime rushing touchdowns. Moore also had 26 career receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown. In the Oct. 2, 1994, game in which Moore wore the offered jersey, he scored a second quarter touchdown on a carry from five yards out that, with the extra point, brought the Lions to within three points of Tampa Bay, at 17-14. The blue mesh jersey has an NFL patch at the neck. Number 31 has been stencil painted onto the front, in white with gray trim. There is a Wilson manufacturer's tag on the left outside tail, and an adjacent tag showing size 48. The left chest has an NFL 75th Anniversary patch. The back has a blue nameplate with "D. Moore" sewn on in white letters. On the back are numerals showing 31, stenciled in white, with gray trim. Heavy wear is shown, with astounding (26) team repairs, abrasions, minor holes from use, and scuffs. The amount of wear shown suggests the jersey was worn in multiple games.
