Displayed is a vintage, postcard-sized signed photo of Hall of Fame immortal Ted Williams. The "Splendid Splinter" played his entire 19-year Major League career with the Boston Red Sox (1939-42 & 1946-60). Despite missing the equivalent of nearly five full seasons in military service as a pilot during both World War II and the Korean Conflict, Williams still managed to bash 521 home runs. The 2-time AL MVP batted .344 lifetime and remains the last man to hit at least .400, achieved when he batted .406 in 1941. On the 3.5x5.5" card, Williams is in his classic, fluid follow-through, demonstrating the form that gave him six batting titles. Williams signed the photo in 9/10 black felt tip. The signed photo has been encapsulated and PSA certified as AUTHENTIC AUTO.
