Trump's signature appears on the sweet spot, grading 8/10, while Maples' is located on the panel directly below and grades 7/10. The position of the signatures is ideal because both can be viewed together when the ball is properly displayed. This is the first baseball signed by Donald Trump and Marla Maples that we have ever seen, let alone handled. While we don't know the circumstances of its signing, it is reasonable to assume that it was obtained during the period of their marriage (1993-1999), because the ball dates to the 1990-1992 manufacturing period.
