Official American League (Budig) baseball features the scarce Hall of Fame signature of Marvin Miller. Remembered as the executive director for the Major League Baseball Players Association from 1966-82, Miller was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 14, 1917, and graduated from New York University in 1938 with a degree in economics. He also worked for the government for nine years, including a stint at the National War Labor Board.
