1888 A28 Duke & Sons Heroes of the Civil War album is roughly 60 pages and contains a colorful look at some of the towering figures of the era. Booklet measures 10.5x7" with wear displayed including some toning and minor tears to pages, some bending and tearing of the cover, and the spine is supported by a piece of clear tape. Inside are color illustrations along with biographical information (in very small, but legible, print), and occasional full-page artwork including "The Commanders-in-Chief" with Generals Grant and Lee; The Battle of Gettysburg; and The Battle of Manassas. Back cover has more extensive tape repair and a cut to the bottom corner; album is in VG condition overall but remains an incredible reference source and memento suitable for any Civil War collection.
