Presented is a 1980s Robin Yount Milwaukee Brewers Professional Rawlings game used outfielder's glove, most likely used by the Hall of Famer from 1985-89, as Yount was injured and moved to the outfield in time for the '85 campaign. Yount had a 20-year Major League career, all with the Milwaukee Brewers, then in the American League. He started as a shortstop, and then switched to the outfield, primarily center field, in 1985. He had 3,142 hits, with 251 home runs and a lifetime .285 batting average. Yount was a 2-time AL MVP, and as a shortstop, both a 2-time Gold Glove winner and a 3-time Silver Slugger Award recipient. The glove is a model "Pro H" brown leather glove with a dual post double T bar. It's a size 12.75". The glove shows excellent wear, especially in the pocket and on the face of the web. "Yount" is handwritten on back of the pinky sleeve and his number "19" is handwritten on the back of the thumb sleeve, with both in black marker. Manufacturer's labeling includes a white-on-red Rawlings' wrist label, well frayed, and an embroidered Rawlings' logo, also frayed, at the base of the web. The included PSA/DNA Taube LOA (cert. # 1G00899) mentions the glove was made in 1979, but Yount used it later in the 1980s.
