Extremely early Muhammad Ali signature dating just three months after his historic victory over Sonny Liston and shortly after the change of his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. Ali's inscription, which reads "From/Muhammad Ali/World's Champ/1964," appears in blue ink on the front of a TWA ticket holder and grades 9/10. According to our consignor, this ticket holder belonged to her great-aunt, who met Ali in the airport and was lucky enough to obtain his signature. The carbon of the original ticket, dated May 28, 1964, remains in the holder. The ticket holder (3.75x8.25") displays a horizontal fold and a staple hole, neither of which affect the Ali inscription. Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA.
