2009 Travis Kelce game worn jersey dates from his collegiate days with the University of Cincinnati Bearcats. Black jersey has Adidas size 40 collar tag with TK written in black marker along with +2 length and 09 year tags. "CINCINNATI" with a bear paw logo on the second "C" is across the chest above the number 18 in white, Big East is embroidered in white on left shoulder; number is also on back but the nameplate has been removed. According to the Bearcats' official website, Kelce was the only player to wear 18 in 2009, however, according to CFBstats.com, MJ James also wore 18 but he was a 6'1 190lb defensive back who would not wear a jersey of this size, especially with extra length. That could potentially be why Kelce's initials are written on the tag, so the equipment managers did not get confused as it is not unusual to have offense/defense duplicate numbers due to the size of college rosters. The two-time Super Bowl champ redshirted at Cincinnati during the '08 season, making this the earliest known Kelce gamer as 2009 was his first playing year in college, appearing in 11 games. Medium use displayed includes a few minor paint transfers on front numbers and loose threads throughout. Entering this season, Kelce had already earned eight Pro Bowl nods in his first nine NFL seasons, though his whirlwind relationship with Taylor Swift (which has taken the non-football world by storm at this writing) has further exposed his tremendous football abilities while making his jersey one of the league's best-selling.
