Sourcing from a former employee, this 1996-97 Hartford Whalers jersey was worn by Czech forward Robert Kron. White home top has Starter tag in neck with "56-R" tag and handwritten number 18; stamped in blue inside the tail is "Official Hartford Whalers 2nd Set 1996-97 Season." Whalers whale-tail logo crest is across the chest, number 18 is on both sleeves and back in blue-on-white-and-green tackle twill, name in blue letters is on a slightly discolored plate above the rear number. Stellar multi-game use is evident with slash marks, abrasions, and holes on both sleeves, from the Whalers' final season in Connecticut before moving to North Carolina to become the Hurricanes. Kron scored 144 goals and racked up 194 assists in his 771 career games. Whalers jerseys remain a popular collector's items and this game used specimen is an excellent example.
