Great provenance in this 1978 Cincinnati Reds Tour of Japan program, which was the personal copy of Cincinnati Reds' standout Ted Kluszewski. Of course, this was written for the home audience and print is entirely in Japanese, though the cover is easy enough to understand, featuring illustrations of Reds players Pete Rose, George Foster, Tom Seaver, and Johnny Bench, all surrounding Japanese baseball icon Sadaharu Oh of the Yomiuri/Tokyo Giants. Program measures 9x11.75", is 82 pages plus cover, and is in superb EX condition. The Reds won 14 of 17 games in their '78 tour - despite the Big Red Machine era drawing to a close - including their last 12 straight over their Japanese counterparts. Comes with a letter from Ted Kluszewski's widow, Eleanor, stating that this was his personal copy that he brought home with him.
