Ken Griffey Jr. spent 11 seasons patrolling center field for the Seattle Mariners between 1989 and 1999. “Junior” made quite an impression on baseball as well as the Emerald City upon his arrival. Besides earning 10 straight selections (1990-99) to the MLB All-Star Game, he also crushed 398 of his career total of 630 home runs while playing for the M’s. Offered here is a pair of Junior’s game-worn Franklin batting gloves that he wore during his latter years in Seattle. Showing outstanding game use, the two-tone, blue-and-aqua-green gloves include his nickname “JUNIOR” stamped in white across the velcro closing strips on either glove. Griffey has signed the right glove only in black ballpoint pen across the bottom of the Franklin logo located on the back of the hand/glove. He added “#24” (his uniform number with the M's) at the end of his signature.
