Pair of black Dunk baseball cleats worn by Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza as a member of the New York Mets, circa 2000. Each of the cleats features Piazza's number "31" embroidered in black upon the white nylon strip decorating the heel. While we have not been able to conclusively photo-match these cleats, Piazza can be seen wearing this exact style cleat in photos dating from the 2000s. Piazza batted .324 with 38 home runs and 113 RBI in 2000. Those numbers not only helped lead the Mets to the National League pennant, but earned Piazza a third-place finish in the MVP voting at season's end. The cleats, which display no size or other manufacturer's markings on the interior, show excellent wear, indicating an extended period of use.
