Collection of three different team-signed All-Star Game balls dating from 1946 and 1947. These balls originate from the personal collection of former Boston Braves catcher Phil Masi, who played in both the 1946 and 1947 All-Star Games as a member of the National League team. Please note: as with all team-signed balls from this era, one must allow for the possibility of a few clubhouse signatures on some or all of the balls.

Twenty black fountain-pen signatures (averaging 7/10) on an ONL (Frick) ball, including Phil Masi, Stan Musial, Dixie Walker, Johnny Mize, Enos Slaughter, Red Schoendienst, Charlie Grimm (Mgr.), Dixie Walker, Peanuts Lowrey (sweet spot), Claude Passeau (sweet spot), Johnny Hopp, Whitey Kurowski, Walker Cooper, Ewell Blackwell, Phil Cavaretta, Kirby Higbe, and Del Ennis. The black-ink notation "National League All-Stars 46" is written on a side panel. EX-MT.

2) 1946  American League All-Star Team. Sixteen blue fountain-pen signatures (averaging 8/10) on an OAL (Harridge) ball, including Luke Appling, Steve O'Neill (Mgr., sweet spot), Charlie Keller, Mickey Vernon, Johnny Pesky, Frankie Hayes, Hal Wagner, Rudy York, Buddy Rosar, Dave Ferriss, and George Stirnweiss. EX-MT.

3) 1947 National League All-Star Team.
