The signature of the artist ("Gray © 84") and the limitation number ("14/61") are etched in the lower right corner. The etched lettering at the base reads "Roger Maris/New York Yankee, October 1, 1961 - Connecting for No. 61." This piece comes with the special provenance of originating directly from Roger Maris' personal collection. It was donated by the Maris family for sale at the Roger Maris Celebrity Golf Tournament and Auction in June 2006 and is accompanied by a signed Letter of Provenance from Roger Maris' son Randy. It is also accompanied by a COA signed by Roger Maris attesting that this the only marble etching produced bearing the limitation number "14/61." The marble (12x16") remains in Near Mint condition and has been mounted and framed to total dimensions of 20x24.5". Full LOA from PSA for the Maris signed COA.
