On March 29, 1995, the Detroit Pistons hosted the New York Knicks at The Palace of Auburn Hills and came out on the wrong end of a 107-97 decision. Despite the outcome, Pistons small forward Grant Hill played exceptionally well as he recorded a double-double with 26 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. In fact, he just missed a triple double as he also dished out nine assists. Offered here is the pair of FILA shoes that Hill wore that game. The two-tone, blue-and-white size 15 shoes both sport the embroidered FILA logo on their outer edges and show excellent game wear. The inside of both shoes’ tongues show a sewn-on specially designed FILA “Hill” label with a silhouetted image of Grant putting up a shot. Hill signed both shoes on the top near the toes in black felt marker and added his uniform number (“33”) and the date of the game (“3-29-95”) as well. Both signatures are crisp and clear. This lot includes a photo of Hill on the court after the game with the person he gave the shoes to, and Hill even signed the photo. Comes with full LOA from PSA for the autographs.
