Jackie Robinson signature example scripted in blue ink upon a cut portion of a lined sheet. PSA has encapsulated the cut and certified the signature as "Authentic." Robinson has added the salutation "Best Wishes" above his name, with both the inscription and signature grading 7/10 overall. This piece has a unique provenance. In 1964 our consignor's sister was a student at Seattle Pacific College. In the spring of that year Robinson spoke at the school during a campaign rally for Presidential hopeful Nelson Rockefeller. After the rally, our consignor's sister was lucky enough to meet Robinson and obtain his autograph. She later gave the autograph to her brother, in whose possession it has remained until now. The sheet (3x3") displays a vertical fold, a few light surface wrinkles, and a tiny area of discoloration.
