No fewer than 72 original, glossy black and white 8x10s from the memorable 1975 World Series, and ALCS between Boston and Oakland comprise this excellent collection culled from the original negatives and developed that fall. The images, as well as ALCS and World Series credentials, come from Boston Herald American photographer Mike Andersen. Among the stars highlighted in the prints are Carlton Fisk, Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Tony Perez, Pete Rose, Vida Blue, Rollie Fingers, Jim Rice, Luis Tiant, and Reggie Jackson, just to name a few. There are plenty of action shots, including two of Bernie Carbo celebrating his home run in the famous Game 6 of the World Series, with others from various angles that give us an up-close-and-personal feel for the games, all of which were from Boston home games at Fenway Park.
