Very rare 1954 W554 image of Babe Ruth has a great vintage look. Sepia toned 5x7" card has a posed image of the Sultan of Swat in batting stance, staring at the off-camera "pitcher" with a glare that likely struck fear in any opposing hurler. Corners are rounded, back is blank with even signs of aging throughout, and small "W554" handwritten notation at the top in blue ballpoint ink. Encapsulated by SGC as GD 2, this is a highly coveted specimen in any condition.
