Nice single-signed baseball dates from Michael Jordan's 1994 foray into the world of professional baseball. Wilson Official American Association ball shows use and handling, with the stampings somewhat faded. Perhaps not as used to signing baseballs as other items, MJ has not, in fact, signed on the (still blank) sweet spot, but over a portion of the faded main stamp. Blue ballpoint pen autograph rates 7/10 and includes the inscription, "To Red," and we are unsure as to whether this ball was possibly hit or caught by Jordan. In honor of his late father, Michael took a hiatus from basketball to pursue a career on the diamond, and although his one-year stint was unspectacular, he did hit three homers at the minor league AA level - not bad for someone not as immersed in the sport as players at that professional level.
