Very sharp full, unused ticket dates from the December 17, 1952, Light Heavyweight Championship bout between champion Joey Maxim and challenger Archie Moore, and is a very rare instance in which such a ducat is signed by both. Ticket has yellow and red highlights and measures 6.25x2.5", and includes an image of both combatants. Moore has signed across the top with Maxim just below, both in 9/10 blue fiber tip marker. Moore is still considered one of the best "pound-for-pound" boxers of all time, having held the Light Heavyweight title longer than anyone in history, nearly 10 years from 1952-62. After retiring he went on to train the likes of Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and more. Ticket itself has EX-MT to NRMT appearance, signatures are beautiful.
