Immaculate Jim Thome bat was game used in the 1998 Home Run Derby, and then in following regular season games. Uncracked and displaying outstanding use, the Louisville Slugger model 491A displays ball marks, stitch impressions, and cleat marks. Original white tape is on the handle with moderate pine tar; model (491A), order number (172), and year (98) are engraved on the knob. Measures 35" and weighs 33.9 ounces. Per the enclosed PSA LOA, exhibited use includes "a vivid purple ball mark" while noting that purple in was used on that year's ASG baseballs, indicating that it may have been used for the game or Home Run Derby. With 612 homers and 1,699 RBI in an extensive 22-year career, Thome was a 2018 inductee into the Hall of Fame. Comes with PSA LOA grading GU10.
