Signed 1956 George Sisler Hall of Fame postcard measures 3.5x5.5". This is the Artvue Type 2 version of the famed HoF plaque card, signed in crisp blue ballpoint ink by Sisler on the bottom. HoF postcards were only made by Artvue from 1953-63 (with Type 2 starting in 1956), and the white background cards are highly sought after. Back is blank except for Artvue's address. One of the earliest players inducted into Cooperstown, the St. Louis Browns' first baseman would today be considered a "five-tool player" during his playing days from 1915-1930. Encapsulated by PSA with a NM-MT 8 grade for the autograph.
