Superb 1947 program from the minor league Buffalo Bisons features a strong pre-Major League signature of Roy Campanella. Program measures 6x9" and is neatly scored in black fountain ink on the centerfold scorecard for this undated 7-inning game against the Brooklyn Dodgers' AAA affiliate, the Montreal Royals. Campy has signed the page on the backside of his team's scorecard in black fountain ink, just above the roster, rating 8/10. Program shows some age with creases and rusted staples, but remains in VG-EX condition. There are several stray pen marks dotted around the score page. Just one year earlier, Jackie Robinson had played for the Royals, blazing a trail that would lead them both to the Hall of Fame by way of Ebbets Field in Brooklyn. Comes with JSA LOA.
