Hall of Fame infielder/designated hitter Paul Molitor authored a terrific career that spanned from 1978 to 1998. Smack dab in the middle - in 1988 - "The Ignitor" received this All-Star Game ring that was only distributed to the players and coaches. Around the red stone in the center reads "MAJOR LEAGUE ALL-STAR" in raised gold lettering. On one shank is the American League logo, while the other displays the logo, "CINCINNATI REDS 1988 ALL-STAR GAME." The Size 10 1/2 ring is stamped JOSTENS QGT inside, is in NRMT condition and comes directly from Molitor, as well as a signed letter from him that accompanies this lot. Also included is a 1988 Official All-Star Game baseball that has been signed by Molitor under a blue printed Cincinnati All-Star Game logo with his number 4 inside the loop of the first letter and "HOF 04" underneath the signature. Other wording on the ball includes: "OFFICIAL BALL 1988 ALL-STAR GAME" with Peter Ueberroth's signature and "COMMISSIONER" underneath.
