Pair of bricks used in the construction of the original Comiskey Park. One brick bears an affixed commemorative plaque from the "Speedway Wrecking Company," which handled the demolition of the stadium, while the other has an affixed Dymo label reading "Comiskey Park." Each brick features the same shade of vintage white paint on one side (the entire exterior of the stadium was painted white). Comiskey Park, known as "The Baseball Palace of the World," was home to the Chicago White Sox from 1910 to 1990, during which time it hosted four World Series and three All-Star Games, including the first All-Star Game in 1933. The stadium was also home to the Chicago American Giants of the Negro League from 1941 to 1950 and, sporadically, the Chicago Cardinals of the NFL. The larger of the two bricks (with the plaque) measures 8x4 x2.5", while the other, which displays a few moderate chips, measures 8x 3.5x2.25".
