Rare high-grade ticket stub dates from the 1973 NBA Finals, as future Hall of Famer Bill Walton poured in 44 points in his UCLA Bruins' 87-66 dominance over Memphis State. Stub measures 2.25x4.125", is gold in color, and has an outstanding appearance with bold printing. Very neatly torn at the perforation, this is the best that has been registered with PSA to date, encapsulated as STUB NM-MT 8; this is a 1-of-1, with none higher. In that March 26, 1973, championship final, Walton was at his usual dominant best, going 21-of-22 from the field while grabbing 13 rebounds; he also had four baskets nullified for goaltending, as dunking was not yet legal and he had a few tip-ins with the ball still in the cylinder. This game represented UCLA's astounding 75th consecutive victory and 7th straight NCAA Championship; while a nagging foot injury would curtail and eventually end his pro career, his body of work was more than enough to punch his ticket into the Naismith Hall of Fame.
