Well-preserved press pin dates from the 1928 World Series between the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. Measures roughly 0.875" in diameter, the front is nearly spotless with perfect enamel including "American League" on a blue background, "World Series" on a red background, and "Press" "1928" on white. Back has slight tarnish which could be cleaned if the new owner prefers, Dieges & Clust stamp on the back, and threaded post with original clasp that also has Dieges & Clust stamp on it. Obviously these are rare as they were only distributed to working media, in this case, for games at Yankee Stadium. That was to include only the first two games, as the Yankees swept the series in dominant fashion - just the franchise's third title at that early date.
