Collection of three vintage nineteenth-century art prints. 1) "The Royal Mails Starting from The General Post Office London." Published in 1830 by Thomas McLean. Printed by James Pollard and engraved by R. G. Reeves. Aquatint with hand color. 27.5x20.5". The print displays light toning and edge wear from having once been matted and framed. 2) "Battle Between Kearsage & Alabama." Photogravure by J. O Davidson. Signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right margin. The original painting was produced by Davidson in 1892 and this print was published in the same year by C. Klackner of New York (as noted in print along the top border). Two remarques appear along the bottom margin (one in each corner; individuals unknown). 20x31". The print displays moderate toning and several tears, some of which have been professionally restored. Dry mounted upon a white backing to total dimensions of 21x33". 3) "Fall-River Mass." Drawn, published and lithographed by J. P. Newell. Copyrighted 1870. Hand-numbered "66/325" in the lower right corner. 29.75x20". The lithograph has been trimmed to its current dimensions and displays a few tack holes along the perimeter. Please note: the size and/or weight of this lot will necessitate an increased shipping charge.
