Autograph collection featuring signatures from the worlds of professional baseball, boxing, football, and basketball. All the signed items in this collection come from the personal collection of a gentleman named Ed Shane and nearly all are personalized either "To Ed" or "To Ed Shane." Most of the items are signed photos. The vast majority of photos measure 8x10", with a few smaller examples also included. Signatures range from 3/10 to 10/10, averaging 7/10. Condition ranges from Fair to Excellent, averaging Good to Very Good overall. Baseball Photos (19): Most are 8x10" black-and-white photos. The highlight of the group is a vintage photo (6x4.5") signed by Leo Durocher that is personalized "To Donald." The remaining signed photos are those of Moose Skowron, Steve Hamilton, Fran Healy, Alan Gallagher, John Cumberland, Ken Henderson, Jerry Johnson, Dave Kingman, Chris Spier, Don McMahon, Ron Bryant, Dan Carrithers, Frank Duffy, Ozzie Virgil, Jose Cardenal, Jim Barr, Russ Gibson, and Mickey Vernon/Joe Cronin. MLB Umpire Photos (12): Sizes range from 3.5x4.5" to 12x8". Consists of Doug Harvey (three examples; each with lengthy inscriptions), John Kibler (two examples), Andy Olson, Jerry Crawford, Shag Crawford (three examples), Johnny Stevens, and Ed Sudol (on the reverse of a trade card). Boxing Photos (2): Jack Dempsey (tape repair at base) and Joe Frazier. Each 8x10". Basketball Photos (2): Nate Thurmond and Ray Meyer. Each 8x10". Football Photos (1): Lou Holtz (Notre Dame; tape repair top and bottom). 8.5x10". Miscellaneous items (5): 1-2) Pair of Lefty O'Doul signed postcards (each signed on the reverse); 3-4) Pair of official umpire lineup cards, from a game between the Cardinals and Cubs on April 20, 2007, signed, respectively by Tony LaRussa and Lou Piniella (the managers of the clubs); and 5) Ernie Banks signed button.
